I know it sounds tedious to back up all your blogs files, but it’s neccessary and it doesn’t have to be difficult as there are loads of easy ways to back up all your blogs files and more importantly the database where all the posts are stored.

WordPress Plugins Which Are Better Free Or Premium?
It sounds like a bit of a stupid question really, we are bound to expect more from something we buy because it then holds a value we can measure. But there is a good reason for asking this question at this time, because blogging in general and WordPress in particular are huge money makers for some people.

If you want proof of the amount being made from WordPress Plugins, sign up for some internet marketers emails and you will quickly understand what I’m getting at. In my experience over half the emails I get are promoting Warrior Special Offers (WSO) offering WordPress plugins for marketers to automate someof their blogging chores. The demand must be high, or there wouldn’t be marketers spending time to promote them, but for us the people buying them are they worth it?

I’m going to sit on the fence a little here and say maybe. The reason for my non comittal stance on this is because some of the WSO WordPress Plugins are worth their asking price  and some(see our reviews of  WP Simplicity and WPSalesAutomator ) because they do something that is difficult to do with a free alternative as in the case of WPSalesAutomator  for which I hunted high and low for free plugins to do the same job and most were either extremely complicated or plain didn’t work. In the case of   WP Simplicity it does so much and saves so much time when creating and running blogs it’s worth the cost as opposed to the time you’d spend otherwise.

On the flip side of the Plugins coin though, some of the offers I’m getting are really not worth buying as there are free plugins available from right within the WordPress add Plugins search which will do the job more than adequately. I’m not knocking the products being offered at a price, because I haven’t tried them all but those I haven’t bought are not missed in my blogging campaigns because of the freely available alternatives.

A little research for what you need the plugin to do could save you some cash which could be used elsewhere in your blogging empire. In most cases a simple plugin will do what you need quickly without lots of bells and whistles which you’d pay extra for in a premium plugin. At the end of the day though you pays your money (or not) and takes your choice, but a little time spent doing the research could find just the right plugin for free and it pays to remember that because something costs money it is no guarantee it will be right for the job either.

There are a myriad of ways to jumpstart traffic flow to your blog, maybe you just don’t have the finacial resources that others have to generate more traffic for your blog. Spending money to get visitors to your blog just isn’t neccessary; all you need is the proper mindset and a lot of eagerness. You also must have the drive and perseverance to do hard work and research to generate more traffic for your site.

Instead of spending a lot of money driving traffic to your blog, take a look at some of the following tips for getting free traffic. Implement some or all of them, and in record time you will start to see more traffic flowing to your blog without cash flowing from your bank account.

Make use of online forums and online communities. The great thing about forums and online communities is that you can target a certain group that fits the certain demographic that you are looking for. You can discuss about lots of things about the subject that you represent or offer information about on your blog.  Another great advantage is that you know what you are getting into and you will be prepared.

With online communities and forums you can build a reputation for your writing, and introduce them to your blog. Show them what you are made of and wow them with your range of expertise about the subject, with that you can build a reputation and build trust with the people in your expertise and knowledge.

You can also make use of newsletters. Provide people with interesting and entertaining articles related to your blog. If you make it really interesting and entertaining, more people will sign up for your newsletter and recommend it to other people. The more people who signs up for your newsletter, the more people there will be that will go to your blog increasing your traffic.

Another great idea is trading links with other sites. You don’t have to spend any money. All you have to do is barter an agreement with another webmaster to put your link on their site in exchange for their link going on your blog. With exchanging links, the efforts both sites do will benefit both sites. Every visitor who goes to the site could potentially click on the link to your site and visit your blog as well. This works well especially when both sites feature the same subject.

Write articles that could pique the attention of people that have interest in your blogs subject. Try writing articles that will provide tips and guides to other people interested in the same hobby or niche as what you are blogging about. Writing articles that provide good information and knowledge to other people would provide the necessary mileage your traffic flow needs. 

Many sites offer free submission and posting of your articles. When people find your articles of interest, they have a good chance of following the track by finding out where the article originated. Include a link or a brief description (sometimes called a bio) of your blog with the article and there’s a good possibility that they will visit your site.

Write good interesting content for your site. Many search engines track down the keywords and keyword phrases your site uses and how they are used. It is not a requirement that any content should be written by a professional content writer. You could do your own but you have to make content for your site that is entertaining as well as informational. It should provide certain requirements as well as great quality.
Generally, internet users use search engines to find what they are looking for. Search engines in return use keyword searching in aiding their search results. With the right keywords, you could get high rankings in search engine results without the costs.
